How It Works
The Cyclone SEQ-WT02 uses nanopore technology, in which DNA libraries bind to motor proteins and are transported to the nanopore protein channels. Under the influence of an electric field, the motor proteins unwind the DNA into a single-stranded form, which passes through the nanopore. Different nucleotides cause changes in the electric current, which are detected by the channel’s sensors. These fluctuations are analyzed in real time using basecalling algorithms, ensuring accurate sequence readout.Technical Specifications
