Ever-changing regulations are impacting liquid chromatography (LC) methods used for product quality control and beyond. With the Arc HPLC System, you can count on highly efficient separation and high-quality data that will meet your regulatory requirements.  With the Arc HPLC System, you can easily replicate and improve the performance of existing HPLC methods without compromising data quality, eliminating the burden of older, less efficient HPLC systems.

High-Performance Analytical Detectors

The system offers a wide range of detection options, including a TUV detector, PDA, FLR, RI detector, ELSD, ECD, conductometric detector, and single- and triple-quadrupole mass spectrometry detectors.

Solvent mixing

A four-channel pump ensures precise solvent mixing at pressures up to 9,500 psi and a maximum operating flow rate of up to 5.0 mL/min. An optional solvent selection valve provides access to additional solvents. Automatic solvent compression compensation, integrated solvent degassing, and programmable seal flushing ensure maximum flow accuracy.

Versatile column control

Suitable for analytical columns up to 300 mm in length with automated switching between three columns via an additional 8-port valve. Equipped with zone temperature control, solvent preheating (optional), and eCord™ Intelligent Chip technology for each column. The column temperature can be maintained within the following ranges (optional):
  • from 20.0 °C (or 5.0 °C above ambient temperature) to 90.0 °C;
  • from 4.0 (or 15.0 °C below ambient temperature, whichever is higher) to 65.0 °C.

Sample Manager

The sample manager uses a “flow-through-needle” (FTN-R) design to aspirate samples and hold them in the needle while preparing the sample for injection into the column. The needle becomes part of the flow path, so the mobile phase flushes the needle during the cycle, ensuring complete sample recovery and minimizing carryover. The standard configuration supports injection volumes of 0.1–50 μL. Additional extension loops can increase the volume up to 1,000 μL. The sample temperature is adjustable from 4° to 40°C.

SmartStart Gradient System

With the SmartStart system, you can transfer analysis methods between instruments without changing the gradient table, as it automatically calculates the required retention volume based on the new conditions.
